About the Cowgirl

"I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well." ~ Psalm 139:14

{age fourteen}
Am I a cowgirl? No, not by a long shot. I live deep in the heart of Orlando, FL. My backyard has barely enough room for a pool and just enough grass to make a rat terrier and a chihuahua happy. I'm seventeen and I still like to make clothes for my american girl doll; she is completely decked out, while my own fashion sense is limited to plaid shirts, bandannas, blue jeans and skater shoes, along with the occasional baseball cap (LA Dodgers, thank you very much). The closest I get to a horse is on the ground, twice a week at a therapeutic ranch in the middle of baseball and soccer fields.
But, albeit slowly, I am working on it.

I graduated high school. Finally. But now the prospects of growing up seem rather daunting...

{age sixteen}

Baking, sewing, singing, playing guitar, camping, road trips, talking in funny accents... a lot of things hold my attention, but above all I like to write. A lot. Books, short stories, and occasional poems... no, I'm not claiming they're good. I haven't published anything (or, more accurately, finished, anything), but hopefully I'll break the streak before I'm eighteen and go off to college.

So anyway, to end this collection of ramblings, hello. I am Charli Rae. Welcome to my world. :)
